  • Description

The Guideline Experience+ Fly Line has been designed for all kinds of fishing situations and different types of casts. This fly line turns over long leaders with perfect presentation and accuracy at any distance you can cast. The long belly is followed by a handling line that lets you carry the full head plus overhang with great stability. An important feature when presenting the fly to shy fish, far away. But it’s not all about distance, this line also works perfect on short and medium distance. You don't have to carry a lot of line outside the rod tip in order to shoot line. The short back taper makes this quite a fast fly line and this is the key to being such a great allrounder.

  • Features

    • The line profile is built up with a 4-metre front taper, a 6.9-metre level belly and a 1.5-metreback taper (#5). This creates a line that is easy to pick up from the water and very well suited for switch- and spey casts. There is also a 1.5m handling line that gives stability and durability to the hauling zone of the line. It also lets you carry more of the flyline outside the rod tip with full control.
    • Compared to the previous Experience the Experience+ has a little shorter head length, head weights are a tiny bit lighter and holding and handling line is thicker. This gives a line that is easier to cast with better balance than its predecessor, still with the same great functionality as the original line. The weight of the head is one line weight up versus what Guideline recommend on their rods, this does not mean that you must go one size down on the lines. For all Guideline rods you can use same line weight on both rod and line. However, if you like a lighter feel, choosing one size down also works perfectly. In general, for medium to fast rods choose the same line weight as the rod, if you have a slower, deep action rod, then one size down is a safe choice.
    • The Experience+ is a tri-coloured fly line, the head has a pale olive colour, the handling line is orange to give you a good reference when holding line in the air and it also works as a part to hold when you want to perform spey casts. The running line has a bone white colour.
    • Experience+ WF is built on a braided multifilament core with a little stretch. There are small, factory-made welded loops in the front and back ends of the line and a laser ID marking near the tip.
    • The fly line box and spool are eco-friendly and recyclable.

FITTING GUIDE AND ADVICE

Taking accurate body measurements is one of the keys to a great fit; all you need is a tape measure.
While it's easiest to have someone else take your measurements, you can also do it yourself.
Stand in front of a mirror to make sure you have the tape measure in the right position. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your underwear or close fitting clothing.
Because the body is made of soft tissue, it can be a bit difficult to know exactly how tight to pull the tape around the body.
The tape should be a bit snug, but not tight-it should not "dig in" or make an indentation in the body. It should not be loose, either! Just wrap the tape around the area of the body being measured and hold it in place. You should be able to put a finger behind the tape, but no more than that.
To measure the length of the foot, stand with your back against a wall and put the foot so the heel touches the wall. Then take a measurement at the position of your longest toe. Do this with a bare foot.
Please note! All measurements are presented in centimeters and are measures of your own body, not the garment.
These charts are only a guide to find the size you need. Trying them on, in real life, is always the best way to find a perfect fit.
The fit of fishing clothing is not only about size of your body. It also comes down to personal preferences of how loose or slim you want them.
If you often fish during the cold weather season and have the need for extra base and fleece-layers, remember to allow for this when you choosing your  size.
