Message To Our Community, Covid-19 Update
Temporary Closure - In light of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have taken what we believe to be the right decision to temporarily shut down our operations. This is to protect our team, customers, and their families and to do all we can to help to prevent the spread of this highly contagious and deadly virus.
At John Norris, family and community has always been the most important thing to us. During these unprecedented times we want to reassure you that the health and safety of our customers, employees and their families continues to be our number one priority. Now is the time for us to come together and support one another more than ever.
We will do our utmost to keep offering you some fantastic deals over the coming weeks on our website and great content on our social media to keep you entertained and lift your spirits.
YOU MAY PLACE AN ORDER DURING THIS PERIOD BUT PLEASE NOTE PAYMENT WILL BE TAKEN AND GOODS WILL NOT BE DISPATCHED UNTIL IT IS SAFE FOR OUR WAREHOUSE TO RE-OPEN.

PLEASE DO NOT RETURN ANY GOODS AT THE MOMENT At this difficult time when Royal Mail and other couriers are gearing up to deliver testing kits and essential items to very vulnerable people we recommend that you don't send parcels back. Any returns that have already been received into our warehouse with be processed immediately on our return to work. Keep your proof of postage for any parcels already sent. We have extended our returns period by 90 days and will review this again if necessary.
We’re doing all we can to navigate the unknown and will continue to be led by all Government and Public Health England advice, responding accordingly to the rapidly changing situation as advised by these experts.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our team for their hard work in these uncertain times and also to you, our customers, for continuing to support us. It’s not been easy for anyone and we’re lucky to have a ‘John Norris family’ that pulls together in troubled times.

From 27th March 2020 and until further notice, goods can only be pre-ordered from this site and your goods will be dispatched when it is safe for our warehouse to reopen.
For deliveries in the UK -
- Deliveries will usually take 3-5 business days.
- Our Carriers do not normally deliver on Saturdays.
- If we have a problem with your order we will contact you. Please ensure you give us as many points of contact as possible.
Postage charges as of 26th March 2020
Postage/Packaging will be charged on all deliveries within the UK dependent upon the weight and size of the parcel.
For UK delivery - £4.95
Overseas Customers :
All overseas orders payable in Sterling.
VAT exemption for NON EEC Countries and VAT registered EEC Customers. If you are UK VAT exempt the system will deduct the VAT.
We offer the following rates for European delivery addresses:
- £7.95 - (Small Parcel) - Flies, Reel, Hat, Shirts etc
- £17.50 - (Large Parcel) - Rods, Boots, Waders etc
We offer the following rates for delivery to Iceland and outside Europe:
- £29.95 - (Excess charges may be payable for volumetric size. An invoice may follow which must be paid before goods are shipped)
Responsibility for Local Taxes and Duties on orders sent VAT free, are the responsibility of you, the customer.
