Beat the Snow with John Norris

Did you wake up to snow all around this morning?  Or are you sitting at your desk in work watching it build up outside your window?  If so, you may need to invest in some items from John Norris to help you stay warm and dry while we wait out the current cold snap.

Wellies

Investing in a good pair of wellies is a must when snow is on the ground.  Walking around in everyday shoes is dangerous and could lead to you falling down.  For those of you who own a pair of wellies you’ll know how well they do on the snow, for those of you who don’t you should take a look at those listed below as they could help you out during the bad weather.

Top selling wellington boots

Hunter Original Bootsthese Hunter boots are probably the most common and are often the most popular.  Available in green or navy and a wide range of sizes they’re sure to keep you upright while the snow is falling.

Le Chameau Country Vibram Bootsthese highly innovative country boots are available in green and in a number of different sizes.

Seeland Allround Rubber Boots Neoprene Lined – wellies aren’t known for keeping your feet warm but these Seeland wellies are lined with neoprene so your feet should feel snug even when the temperature plummets.

Warm jackets

In addition to protecting your feet you need the rest of you to be warm and dry so we’ve pulled together a list of our warmest jackets for you to choose from:

Mens jackets

Musto Snug Blouson – as the name suggests this Musto jacket will keep you snug no matter how cold it is outside.

Musto Highlands Jacket – the longer length of this jacket means you’ll be kept warm and dry from head to toe (as long as you invest in the correct footwear).

Schoffel Rutland Windstopper Jacket – with the snow we’ve got the wind which only worsens how cold we feel.  If you choose to invest in this windstopper jacket you won’t be able to feel the chill.

Barbour Micro Fibre Polarquilt – this Barbour jacket is extra warm because it’s fleece lined.  Unlike most warm jackets, this can be placed in the washing machine to keep it clean.

Barbour Sporting Featherweight Climate Jacket – this jacket launched in 2012 and is still extremely popular.  The tough and robust Gore-Tex outer layer combined with the fleece lining is sure to keep you warm when you need it most.

Ladies Jackets

Musto Braemer Jacket – this jacket can only be described as gorgeous and it not only looks good but the down filling means it will keep you extremely snug when it’s snowing outside.

Barbour Ladies Grace Polarquilt Jacket – polarquilt jackets are designed specifically to keep you warm and the detachable hood on this one is an additional bonus should it start snowing while you’re out and about.

Barbour Ladies Utility Polarquilt Jacket – another great Barbour jacket to keep you warm and dry  at the same time, even in the recent bad weather.

Schoffel Ladies Burley Fleece – there is nothing warmer than a fleece, wearing this on its own or under another jacket is sure to make you feel snug as a bug.

Schoffel Ladies Seaton Quilted Coat – the insulation in this Schoffel ladies jacket will keep you warm while looking extremely fashionable
