    From the beginning of the phone call I was left reassured that my complaint was being taken in an efficient manner and that a resolution would be expedient.

    The returns process was fully explained, I received my FREE returns label within minutes and I now have a pair of thus far waterproof boots within a week of returning my defective pair. 

    Having had to use my 15year old pair of boots through a very wet week, I am hugely relieved to have received my replacement Harkilas.

    I really don’t think you could have done anything more for me. Truly fantastic service.

  3. I have just received my 12ft John Norris-Guideline, Salmon fly rod. I must say it oozes quality and I like the large tip ring, great idea. Also the accessories are excellent. Nice to get a quality rod bag instead of one made of what my dear old Grandad called rivet bag Tweed. The only other rod bags that came anywhere near this quality were hand made by the bespoke rod maker the late Steve Parton. I'm really looking forward to trying the rod out and if it performs as well as it looks it will be really something. Price wise it hits way above its price tag. I'm also impressed with the quality and range of John Norris fly lines and in future I don't think I will be buying anybody else's.

  8. A massive thank you to Sharon who took the trouble to go to the warehouse and measure the girth on a pair of Guideline Alta Sonic waders (3XL) which didn't feature in Guideline's sizing chart. I couldn't find any in Scotland to try on, but the measurement will fit me perfectly. Utterly delighted and a bargain at the price!

    Good customer service is still available in the fishing world. Nice to see.

    On two occasions in the last twelve months I have had cause to contact John Norris seeking help, the first for a broken rod tip on my Sage Rod and on the second occasion plastic clips to repair my Hardy Ultralite reel.

    On both occasions my query was handled by Sarah, the service I received from John Norris, Sage and Hardy was first class; handled quickly, efficiently and with the minimum fuss with the added bonus of little or no charge.
