Guideline Power Strike Pro Tapered Nylon Standard Leader - 9ft

Available in a subtle smoky grey shade for improved camouflage the Guideline 9ft Power Strike PRO Standard is one of the most popular, versatile and user-friendly leaders available. Used straight out of the packet, it excels in all areas of performance, to offer positive turnover and easy delivery. Supplied in a 2-pack the packaging features a zip and is UV proof for easy use and safe storage. Without question these are considered the most versatile dry fly leaders out there!

Standard leaders are the perfect choice for progressive fly fishers and when extra long leaders are not required. The Pro leaders are designed for many fishing situations we encounter and can be attached directly to the fly line without any form of customization. For a more tailored leader arrangement, we suggest removing approx 30-40cm of leader from the tippet end of a 3X or 4X leader before knotting on a tippet ring. This affords a degree of versatility for attaching various tippet diameters and lengths to accommodate a wide range of fly sizes and patterns.

Taper profile
The profile of Power Strike PRO tapers features; Butt – 40% (109 cm / 3.6 ft), Taper Section – 35% (96 cm / 3.2 ft), Tip – 25% (69 cm / 2.2 ft). The butt diameter varies in relationship to the tippet diameter, allowing you be pair different line weights for optimal performance. This ensures a seamless connection is realized for improved delivery and presentation.

Please advise when placing your order via the web or phone if it would be more convenient to leave your parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour, we can pass these instruction onto the couriers, this would be done at your own risk.

We deliver to addresses in the UK Mainland, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle Of Man, Guernsey and Jersey.

Postage/Packaging will be charged on all deliveries.

RETURNS

We will gladly exchange or refund any unused goods if you return them to us in a saleable condition within 90 days of receipt. Simply post your goods back to us in an unused condition, in their original packaging with any labels attached, together with a copy of your invoice and a covering letter explaining your requirements.
