Description
Besides being much improved in casting abilities, the density shift has been adjusted to give you a much better sinking effect. With a smooth and softer coating, with almost no memory, the line has a fantastic balance while flying through the air, and fishes truly amazing. Together with our huge variety of tips you can literally “build” your own dream line.
For a long time, Guideline have been market leading in the development of multi tip shooting heads and with the brand new Classic Scandi they feel that we have yet taken a big step forward. The new Classic Scandi is based on the previous 4D, but with a rather big change in tapers. The improved taper design and weight distribution makes these lines much easier to lift out of the water. They shoot with such high energy that it almost feels like it is going to get loose from the running line! When you setup your D-loop for a Spey cast, you will instantly feel how the line almost speaks to you. With the new taper, it is extremely clear when the weight of the line aligns with the rod. This will help you keep a much better line tension which will then help you as you move into your forward cast.
The smooth and softer coating gives the line great stability in the loop whilst casting, and with almost no memory the line will keep completely straight in the water without coiling. With the new coating, they have also adjusted in the density splits in the lines, giving you a much better sinking effect with a larger portion of the higher density in the line than before. Together with their guided chart with tips, you can get a lot of different setups that will work beautifully for different situations and basically create your own perfect line! Whether you need a light versatile line for smaller rivers or a big sinking line for those heavy rods, the Classic Scandi multi tip bodies together with Guideline's tips will give you endless of varieties!
TIP! Depending on what your personal preference is regarding total weight and length, you can match these bodies with tips from both Guideline's 4D and 4D Compact tip range. Please see recommended tip lengths and weights in their size guide!

FITTING GUIDE AND ADVICE
For Guideline Wading Boots, please order one size larger than your normal UK shoe size.
Taking accurate body measurements is one of the keys to a great fit; all you need is a tape measure.
While it's easiest to have someone else take your measurements, you can also do it yourself.
Stand in front of a mirror to make sure you have the tape measure in the right position. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your underwear or close fitting clothing.
Because the body is made of soft tissue, it can be a bit difficult to know exactly how tight to pull the tape around the body.
The tape should be a bit snug, but not tight-it should not "dig in" or make an indentation in the body. It should not be loose, either! Just wrap the tape around the area of the body being measured and hold it in place. You should be able to put a finger behind the tape, but no more than that.
To measure the length of the foot, stand with your back against a wall and put the foot so the heel touches the wall. Then take a measurement at the position of your longest toe. Do this with a bare foot.
Please note! All measurements are presented in centimeters and are measures of your own body, not the garment.
These charts are only a guide to find the size you need. Trying them on, in real life, is always the best way to find a perfect fit.
The fit of fishing clothing is not only about size of your body. It also comes down to personal preferences of how loose or slim you want them.
If you often fish during the cold weather season and have the need for extra base and fleece-layers, remember to allow for this when you choosing your size.
