This Halloween, Muncaster Castle is hosting a variety of events for all ages and spook-levels. If you’re after a family Halloween adventure with a spooky maze and Frankenstein Castel Tours, the Halloween Festival will be running between 21-29th October this year.

Feeling brave? Muncaster’s new 18+ recommended scare night is packed with frightening surprises and poltergeist experiences on 20,21,27 and 28th October.

3.   PUMPKIN PICKING AT WALBY FARM

Located in Carlisle, Cumbria, Walby Farm Park is hosting a month of pumpkin picking activities. Bring your family to enjoy the orange, pumpkin-filled fields this Halloween, picking your own and carving or decorating at home.

4.   THE WINTER DROVING

The annual town celebration is back – The Winter Droving, a magical celebration of rural life, food and fun in Penrith. On 28th October, the decade-old tradition will be back with fire, music, masks and culture in Penrith Town Centre.

Created by Eden Arts, The Winter Droving will be a spectacular event to visit with family and friends, and has created a lifetime of memories since its establishment.

5.   THE BROCKHOLE HALLOWEEN EXPERIENCE

Tickets are on sale now for The Brockhole Halloween Experience, from 21-29th October throughout the hours of 9 am – 5 pm. The all-day event is filled with fun activities including axe throwing, a new Haunted Forest, the Tipi of Terror, Laser Tag in the woods and more.
