Scientific Anglers Headway Tip - Float

Two years ago, Scientific Anglers came up with the idea of designing a new line system for double-handed rods. In order to gain further insights into the Scandinavian market and the needs of Scandinavian salmon fishermen, they started out by interviewing a series of Scandinavian fly tackle stores. In doing so, they learned more about how to improve and optimise existing line ranges in the market. Full of input and enthusiasm, they then sat down and designed the first prototypes. During the development and testing phases, they teamed up with some of the most experienced salmon fly fishermen, fly casters, and tackle store representatives in Norway. They’re proud to say that the resulting line- and tip range is the most thoroughly tested and fine-tuned line range they’ve ever designed for Scientific Anglers. The lines and tips perform equally well for the beginner and the expert no matter what modern high-modulus double-hander you might chose to cast.

• The tapered tips will turn over both the smallest and biggest salmon flies out there. The tips will also improve most other heads (from competing brands) in the market
• Tips range from 9 – 18´ in six different sinking densities
• No hinging in the transition between belly and tip. Makes for harmonious casting and smooth loops
• Textured coating makes the tips easier to pull out of the water prior to casting
• Integrated Scientific Anglers line-ID, so you can always identify the right tip for the right job

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PARCEL?

All goods despatched via courier. There are no deliveries on Saturday and Sunday but we can arrange a Saturday delivery for an additional cost - please call our team on 01768 864211 (Monday-Friday) for further information.

Please advise when placing your order via the web or phone if it would be more convenient to leave your parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour, we can pass these instruction onto the couriers, this would be done at your own risk.

We deliver to addresses in the UK Mainland, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle Of Man, Guernsey and Jersey.

Postage/Packaging will be charged on all deliveries.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

We can only deliver to UK Mainland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland at the moment. We apologise for any disappointment caused.

RETURNS

We will gladly exchange or refund any unused goods if you return them to us in a saleable condition within 90 days of receipt. Simply post your goods back to us in an unused condition, in their original packaging with any labels attached, together with a copy of your invoice and a covering letter explaining your requirements.
