The Mayfly is probably the most famous insect in the fishing world. Ephemeroptera is best known for its large hatches on the chalk streams of southern England where they appear in large numbers around May. One stage of this fly's life cycle that is well worth paying attention too actually occurs under the waters surface... the Nymph. The Richard Walker Mayfly Nymph is a fantastic imitation which has proven to be a fish catching machine as the Mayfly begins its journey to becoming an adult.
