When you go for the larger rivers and fish early in the season with spring flood a longer rod is needed. This type of fishing often means deep wading, long casts and sometimes even heavier sinking lines. For this, a 14ft fly rod and reel outfit helps you to cover big waters whilst still being a very comfortable combo to fish with a full day. Big waters don't always mean spring flood, it's more about general width and being able to control the swing throughout a long cast and why a long rod is needed.

The rods “mid flex” action curve and medium fast recovery, makes this rod very user friendly and gives a feeling of power and delicacy both whilst casting and fighting fish. The rod is matched with a shooting head system, meaning you have a shooting line, followed by Guidelines Power Scandi Body + intermediate tip. This short and well-balanced head is extremely easy to cast, and you will find that Spey casting all of a sudden isn't that hard. The lines taper suits all anglers and exceeds in all types of Spey casting. The Embrace combo is delivered with a tip with a very universal density called intermediate, which is a slow sinking and will get you a long way. RETURNS

We will gladly exchange or refund any unused goods if you return them to us in a saleable condition within 90 days of receipt. Simply post your goods back to us in an unused condition, in their original packaging with any labels attached, together with a copy of your invoice and a covering letter explaining your requirements.
