The Orvis Battenkill disc fly reel, a proven legend of the Orvis reel family, is now ushered into the next decade. They didn’t touch the reliability and workhorse nature—those aspects are not for negotiation. Instead, the team worked to tighten tolerances for even smoother operation and updated key facets of the design like improved hand feel on the drag knob, a curved reelfoot that won’t kink leaders, and new, understated colours that complement the aesthetic of Superfine, Classic Bamboo, or even freshwater Helios® and Recon® rods. Includes the stout Hydros SL drag system, which incorporates six interacting carbon and stainless drag surfaces. Positive click drag is simple and easy to adjust. Each reel is built of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium with an ergonomic Delrin handle, and changing from left to right hand retrieve is simple. Mid-arbor with a ported design that pays homage to Battenkill reels of old. A true modern classic.

Next Day deliveries apply Monday to Friday if an order is received before 2PM Monday to Friday.

RETURNS

We will gladly exchange or refund any unused goods if you return them to us in a saleable condition within 90 days of receipt. Simply post your goods back to us in an unused condition, in their original packaging with any labels attached, together with a copy of your invoice and a covering letter explaining your requirements, the goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.
