  • Description

Everything about this series is new. Guideline have built these rods from scratch to offer the best balance between cost and performance. The results are a series of entry to intermediate level Euro nymph/light dry fly presentation rods that offer an amazing experience.

The Guideline LPS (Light Presentation Series) are Euro nymph/light dry fly presentation rods that offer an amazing experience. Built from high-modulus 36/30 graphite materials with reduced resin content, weight has been kept at a minimum with an impressive balance (for rods of this length and price). Action curves have been developed and refined together with two of the very best Euro Nymph anglers in UK: Alex Jardine and Lewis Hendrie to anglers of all abilities.

The action can be described as a "forgiving" Medium/Fast Flex that tolerates operator errors without sacrificing performance when loaded in the correct way. Tip sections are rigid, yet soft enough to manage very thin Euro style leaders down to 6 or 7x without risking too easy break offs. Super fun rods to cast, operate and to play fish with. The downlocking reel seat, positions the reel as close to the butt as possible to give optimum balance and sensitivity for nymphing. Handles are slim reversed half wells, tapered towards the blank to let you smoothly slide that index finger onto the blank for maximum strike detection.

LPs 962 - This model is ideally suited to small streams and rivers where accuracy and stealth are key. It allows anglers to fish the lightest of tippets with confidence. The model picks up even the subtlest of takes.

LPs 993 - This model is a perfect all-rounder for small streams to big rivers. It is capable of handling light tippets and strong fish with ease. The length and weight of the rod help anglers to control flies for long periods of time without tiring.

LPs 1004 - This model is designed for those targeting predominantly bigger rivers and fish, where bigger flies and better fish handling capabilities are important. Like its lighter equivalents, it still offers excellent bite detection and the ability to use light tippets.

FITTING GUIDE AND ADVICE

Taking accurate body measurements is one of the keys to a great fit; all you need is a tape measure.
While it's easiest to have someone else take your measurements, you can also do it yourself.
Stand in front of a mirror to make sure you have the tape measure in the right position. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your underwear or close fitting clothing.
Because the body is made of soft tissue, it can be a bit difficult to know exactly how tight to pull the tape around the body.
The tape should be a bit snug, but not tight-it should not "dig in" or make an indentation in the body. It should not be loose, either! Just wrap the tape around the area of the body being measured and hold it in place. You should be able to put a finger behind the tape, but no more than that.
To measure the length of the foot, stand with your back against a wall and put the foot so the heel touches the wall. Then take a measurement at the position of your longest toe. Do this with a bare foot.
Please note! All measurements are presented in centimeters and are measures of your own body, not the garment.
These charts are only a guide to find the size you need. Trying them on, in real life, is always the best way to find a perfect fit.
The fit of fishing clothing is not only about size of your body. It also comes down to personal preferences of how loose or slim you want them.
If you often fish during the cold weather season and have the need for extra base and fleece-layers, remember to allow for this when you choosing your  size.
