  • Description

These ex-demo rods are in great condition and come with full Guideline warranty

Featuring the very latest in Nano Matrix Carbon Technology, the new NT8 Series brings Guideline rods to the next level with premium cork, lightweight, strong blanks and a medium fast action with remarkable recovery.

These two new light and strong Switch models in 11’9 #7/8 and 8/9 are best suited for light double-handed work given their length, but because of the light swing weight, they can also be managed as a long single hander.

NT8 rods are identified by a remarkable recovery kick in a rod that is Medium/Fast and loads deep and precise, generating increasing amounts of power as you ask for it. While still maintaining impressive lifting power for sinking lines, this deeper, yet fast type of action will work for a wide range of casts, lines and casting styles. These rods have not only tested as the strongest rods Guideline have ever produced, but they are also the lightest, making them a joy to use along rivers and coastlines during long, intense fishing days.

All Guidelines NT8 rods use an ultra-elastic IM8-46T Low Resin Material which makes it possible to create feather-light blanks with a crisp feeling that greatly improves sensitivity. Together with this, they've used a carbon-scrim material with a proprietary BIAS Cross Construction structure. This produces a lightning-fast recovery speed, increases the casting distance and improves the compression strength. This construction also excels in one other way.. You will definitely be amazed at the ability these rods have to fight and overpower fish with little force. High-strength Nano-resin graphite improves the toughness and increases durability in the rods. Casting and fish-fighting cause countless amounts of flexing and unloading of the blank, the Nano-material prevents damage due to external shocks, internal stresses or fatigue. The material properties implemented into these NT8 blanks can be described with these simple words; DURABILITY, LOW WEIGHT and CRISPNESS.

FITTING GUIDE AND ADVICE

Taking accurate body measurements is one of the keys to a great fit; all you need is a tape measure.
While it's easiest to have someone else take your measurements, you can also do it yourself.
Stand in front of a mirror to make sure you have the tape measure in the right position. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your underwear or close fitting clothing.
Because the body is made of soft tissue, it can be a bit difficult to know exactly how tight to pull the tape around the body.
The tape should be a bit snug, but not tight-it should not "dig in" or make an indentation in the body. It should not be loose, either! Just wrap the tape around the area of the body being measured and hold it in place. You should be able to put a finger behind the tape, but no more than that.
To measure the length of the foot, stand with your back against a wall and put the foot so the heel touches the wall. Then take a measurement at the position of your longest toe. Do this with a bare foot.
Please note! All measurements are presented in centimeters and are measures of your own body, not the garment.
These charts are only a guide to find the size you need. Trying them on, in real life, is always the best way to find a perfect fit.
The fit of fishing clothing is not only about size of your body. It also comes down to personal preferences of how loose or slim you want them.
If you often fish during the cold weather season and have the need for extra base and fleece-layers, remember to allow for this when you choosing your  size.
