The Trion XT fly rods set the bench mark in terms of performance and value. The rod actions have been refined and developed to have a single line rating and are a medium to fast action making them very user frendly and accurate. The shorter versions of the Shakespeare Trion XT fly rods (up to 8 feet) are built on a 3 piece blank design, while the rest have a 4 piece design. This obviously helps with ease of transport and there is no loss in action or performance in comparison to the original two and three piece Trion versions.
