The quality die-cast frame of the XSD performance reels is made from a lightweight, powder coated alloy, for a tough, chip and saltwater resistant finishwith a multi-disc stainless drag system.

Full Description

The XSD 11/12 is an extra large Salmon reel with 10% more capacity than most other Salmon fly reels, by increasing the width of the spool this reel will swallow the largest of spey lines, plus adequate backing. These reels are built to last and are perfectly at home in salt or freshwater.
