Shakespeare, and not the famous English Poet and Playwright, is a famous fishing brand set up in 1897 and began manufacturing fishing reels like the Shakespeare Pflueger Trion Fly Reels and Spools. In 1965 they acquired the interests of Topp Tackle, located in the UK so formed the perfect partnership.
