  • Jim Curry - Based in Yorkshire Jim has been passionately involved in the flyfishing industry for over twenty years and is an A.A.P.G.A.I Master Casting Instructor and is a lead assessor for this world renowned qualification. He has a number of published articles and is a regular contributor for Trout and Salmon magazine and a tackle consultant. His love for flyfishing started at an early age catching small brownies in the stream that flowed through the farm where he grew up. He landed his first trout on the fly at the age of eight when introduced to the art by his father and his first salmon on the fly came from the Findhorn at the age of 12 whilst on a family fishing holiday. To this day Jim and his father still make the annual trip to fish the Scottish rivers together. Since then he has guided and fished around the world and he has lead numerous clients to some of the most exciting destinations on the planet, sharing with them unforgettable flyfishing experiences.
  • Glyn Freeman - Glyn is a full time fully qualified fly casting instructor and guide, an active member of A.A.P.G.A.I. (Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors). Qualifications - Masters in Salmon and Trout Disciplines, Advanced Fly Dressing, and FFF (Federation of Fly Fishers USA) Masters Trout. Full liability insurance, CRB (criminal records bureau) checked, child protection awareness, L20, licensed coach and first aid.
    Glyn has fished in Cumbria and the Borders for over twenty years. He is based on the River Eden where he is a river keeper on the lower river and casting instructor for John Norris of Penrith. A member of the Scott professional fly casting team,and holds an I.F.M (Institute of Fisheries Management certificate).

  • Geoff Johnston - The Eden Valley and English Lake District are beautiful places to visit and fish, but like most places local knowledge can be invaluable - Geoff Johnston, a fly fisherman in pursuit of Wild Brown Trout and Grayling, with over 30 years experience, can offer guide services, fly fishing tuition and fly fishing courses for individuals or groups on various beats of the River Eden and it's tributaries, boat fishing on Ullswater and bank fishing on Haweswater Reservoir.
