Although fishing flies can be bought already made many people prefer to tie their own while there are a number of people who use fly tying as a way of making themselves some money. They buy the equipment needed for fly tying, create a number of flies and then sell them on.

You will not only find books you can buy which explain how to start fly tying you will also find sites on the internet which depict what you need to do, step by step when it comes to fly tying. As with anything new fly tying may prove to be quite difficult at first but the more practice you get the better you will become and before you know it you will be fly trying with ease.
